General Program Questions
No. Many students begin with zero flight time. Our programs are designed to take you from your first flight through certification.
Getting Started
The first step is to schedule an introductory flight. This experience allows you to get hands-on time in the aircraft, meet our instructors, and see what flight training at Volair is like firsthand.
Medical & Eligibility
A Third-Class FAA Medical Certificate is required to begin flight training at Volair Aviation. For students planning to pursue aviation as a career, we recommend obtaining a First-Class FAA Medical Certificate. Scheduling & Training Structure
We recommend flying at least 2–3 times per week to maintain continuity and reduce overall training time.
Aircraft & Instructors
Students train in modern, well-maintained, FAA certified Diamond Da40 aircraft equipped with at minimum a Garmin G1000
